Join us for a one day Saturday class for women in the last trimester of pregnancy and their partners. This Lamaze based class includes  information on anatomy and physiology of birth,  labor and delivery,  breathing and relaxation, comfort techniques, role of the support person, postpartum and newborn procedures and medications in labor.  Our blitz class also includes a tour of The Baby Place.   All instructors are certified childbirth educators.  You must register for this class and the $125 fee allows you  and your partner the opportunity to attend a Baby Care, Breastfeeding and Anesthesia class free of charge (classes scheduled on seperate evenings and require pre-registration).  The Breastfeeding and Baby Care classes can be registered for on the Celebration registration site by choosing the Childbirth Series/Blitz Attendee ticket.  The Anesthesia class is only offered at our Orlando campus.  You can register for that class on their registration website www.orlandobabyplace.eventbrite.com or call 407-303-7386.  *Please register for these additional classes as soon as possible to avoid the class being closed to capapcity.*  **A lunch break is given during the class.  There is an on-site cafe and convenient area restaurants near the campus.**  Location: Mangrove Conference Room, 1st floor across from Fitness Center Time: 9am-5pm; check-in by 8:45am What to bring: 2 pillows, a blanket or yoga mat, and snack/drinks.  Since the class is geared for adults we ask that you make other arrangements for your children as we do not offer childcare.  Class Dates:August 25October 6December 1 Per Couple 125.00 FH Employees per Couple 115.00 OCPS employees with Cigna insurance must contact your insurance to enroll prior to purchasing class ticket.
