Course Description
In this hands-on course, you'll learn to install and manage an Exchange Server 2010 network of servers, and you'll explore the critical new features from a real-world perspective. You will learn to deploy Exchange Server 2010 servers in various roles, including Mailbox role and Client Access role, and you will learn to manage message transport. You will also learn to upgrade Exchange 2003 or Exchange 2007 to Exchange Server 2010 SP1.
This course incorporates materials from the Official Microsoft Learning Product 10165: Updating Your Skills from Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 or Exchange Server 2007 to Exchange Server 2010 SP1. It can also assist you in your preparation for the exams associated with the MCITP: Enterprise Messaging Administrator on Exchange 2010 certification: Exam 70-662: TS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, Configuring and Exam 70-663: Pro: Designing and Deploying Messaging Solutions with Microsoft Exchange Server 2010.

Who Should Attend
IT professionals who are experienced with the technologies included in Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 or Exchange Server 2007, responsible for planning and deploying Exchange servers in an enterprise environment, and want to upgrade their skills
Prerequisites:
At least two years administering Exchange Server 2003 or Exchange Server 2007
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft Windows Server 2008, though experience with previous versions of Exchange Server is not required
Experience with Active Directory in Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008
Experience managing backup and restore on Windows Servers
Experience using Windows management and monitoring tools such as Microsoft Management Console, Active Directory Users and Computers, Performance Monitor, Event Viewer, and Internet Information Services (IIS) Administrator
Experience using Windows networking and troubleshooting tools such as Network Monitor, Telnet, and NSLookup
Fundamental knowledge of certificates and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
