It includes an overview of:·         Scaling Lean and Agile Teams: The SAFTM Enterprise Adoption Framework·         Agile Engineering: XP Practices and Acceptance Test Driven Development using Gherkin, Cucumber and Jenkins This course can be taken as a 1 or 2 day. Day 1 is an overview of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAF) and introduction to eXtreme Programming (XP) practices. Day 2 is optional and provides more in-depth information on Test Driven Development, ATDD, Ruby basics and Cucumber.  The Scaled Agile Framework is a proven approach for implementing Agile practices at an enterprise scale. It has been attributed to being the single most important factor to longevity of Agile transformations in large enterprises. Participants will learn how to:·         Create a "Big Picture" of the delivery organization, highlighting roles, teams, activities, artifacts·         Recognize the three levels of scale: Team, Program and Portfolio under the Scaled Agile Framework·         Leverage consistent Agile Release Planning across a program, product line and enterprise The Scaled Agile Framework is detailed in Dean Leffingwell's books Agile Software Requirements: Lean Requirements for Teams, Programs and the Enterprise (2011) and Scaling Software Agility: Best Practices for Large Enterprises (2007). Agile Engineering is a set of eXtreme Programming (XP) and Lean/Agile practices that enable teams to move towards the nirvana of single piece flow in Kanban systems.
