Heart of Florida United Way (HFUW) and the Children’s Leadership Alliance of Orange County (CLAOC) are launching a new community-wide initiative to move the needle on critical issues affecting local children and families. Speak Up! Stand Up! will discuss the current state of children’s advocacy, the local system of care serving children’s diverse needs, and steps to improve activism.
CLAOC is comprised of government, nonprofit, education, faith-based and private-sector leaders committed to securing a brighter future for local children. HFUW also supports these efforts through its Developing Healthy Children & Families focus area.
