Art exhibits and Blues will be the main attraction at the City of Casselberry Art & Music in the Park and Food Truck Bazaar on Friday, November 9 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Lake Concord Park behind Casselberry City Hall at 95 Triplet Lake Dr.
Two art exhibits are featured at the City of Casselberry in November. First, in Casselberry City Hall, an Opening Reception from 6-9 PM will feature the Arteffects exhibit. This kaleidoscopic art is fresh and cutting edge, capturing the spirit of what is currently happening artistically. Second, the art of The Marco Bronzini Art Group is back at the Casselberry Art House with an opening reception from 6-8 PM. The Marco Bronzini Art Group represents artists who work in a variety of mediums and diverse style ranging from Impressionism to a more abstract approach influenced by other art movements.
After you tour the art exhibits, don’t forget to start your holiday shopping as you stroll through the beautiful Lake Concord Park and view hand-made works of art including jewelry, paintings, photography, ceramics, and more! No reservations are needed for dinner as everyone in your party will find something they like at the Food Truck Bazaar (www.thefoodtruckbazaar). And if that isn’t enough to elevate your senses, the blues sounds of Ernie Lancaster and The Blues Band are sure to.
Ernie Lancaster began playing guitar at 10, made his first record with Danny Dollar at age 20, and began playing gigs around Florida in the mid-to-late sixties. Soon after, he cut his first album with Warner Bros. Records with Root Boy Slim. He has toured throughout England, Scotland, and Wales and is currently jamming around local Blues clubs and festivals in Central Florida.
Bring your own chairs, tables, and blankets and enjoy a night out. Free admission and parking.
The Casselberry Art & Music in the Park and Food Truck Bazaar is held the second Friday of each month at Lake Concord Park, except for December when the event will join the Casselberry Tree Lighting Ceremony on the second Friday, December 14.
