December 9, 2012 Holiday Events - Local Heroes NightHeroes are all around us.  Policeman, fireman, paramedics, war veterans, soldiers and military personnel--many times they go unnoticed and unappreciated.  At Bass Pro Shops, we believe in heroes and believe they all deserve to be recognized and thanked.To show how much we appreciate our Local Heroes and their service, Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World Orlando will keep our doors open on Sunday night, December 9th, from 7pm to 10pm for a very special evening of activities, shopping, discounts and drawings. All Local Heroes and their immediate families are invited to attend. (Must show badges or other identification to attend this event.)Heroes and their family can visit the magical Christmas Village that is Santa’s Wonderland and enjoy items like slot car racing, laser and soft gun arcades, remote control cars and trains. Guests and their families can take a free picture with the jolly old elf himself. A special offer for Heroes includes a 10% discount on any photo packages they decide to order that night.Kids will enjoy making a stuffed Owl ornament during the special craft activity that is offered that night only (while supplies last or until 9pm). Heroes will enjoy our one night shopping special with a 10% discount on regularly priced items plus take advantage of special sales offered throughout the store.  And finally, to wrap up the holidays, free gift wrapping is included presented by the Central Florida Boy Scouts Of America.Special drawings will be held for Bass Pro Shops gift cards beginning at 7:30pm.
