Singing competition open to everyone ages 5 and up. Contestants should prepare a one-minute a capella song of their choice. Five (5) finalists from each category will perform at the finale show at 4:30 p.m. on the Winter Festival Main Stage. All contestants must agree to be available to perform at the finale show. Final contestants must have an mp3 or cd of the background or karaoke track of their selected song; if not they will be given a selection of tracks to choose from for their final performance. Winners will be announced around 5:00 p.m. Grand prizes of $500 for J Idol winner (ages 13+) and iPad mini for J Idol Jr. winner (ages 5-12). Entry Fee: $10 Ages 5-12 $15 Ages 13 and up
