This year, the Florida Lottery will turn 25 years old.  We are currently celebrating that milestone by reflecting on the positive impact that the Florida Lottery has had on the state of Florida.

As we mark 25 years, we also sharpen our focus on the future and how we can continue to maximize the revenues we generate for education in the state. 

Our sole purpose and mission is to sell tickets that fund education.  It is that simple.  It’s what we’ve done for 25 years and what we will do for the next 25 years and beyond.

The have launched the “Year of the Flamingo” this fall.  The Year of the Flamingo, and its special 25th Anniversary version of our logo, mark our 25 years of winning. 

The FL Lottery is not only recognizing 25 years and the billions won by their players, but also the $24 billion that has been transferred to the state’s education system as well as the commissions to retailers and profits to vendors.
