Intro to Urethane Plastic CastingInstructor:  Dave WoodsThis is a hands on class which will take about 3 hours. You need to provide a small item you would like to make a copy of.  We will provide 16 oz. plastic cups to make the mold in.  Your part needs to fit in that cup with about a half inch to spare in all dimensions. The class will provide the material for a single use mold and a single part.  A first casting should be something small and simple.  We will be using materials which set fast so we can do the whole process in the short time.  The result will be an opaque (white base) hard plastic. If you would like to make more castings or make a larger cast please contact me so I can make sure we have sufficient supplies on hand and determine how much extra would need to be paid.  All supplies except the part to be copied will be provided.  If you have questions regarding your desired casting item and the necessary volume please call me at 407-859-8737 (TEC Engineering answering machine will answer but be sure to leave a message.  I will most likely be able to pick up.) before signing up.
