2013 we’ve up’d the Challenge with an extended 23 mile bike route, a 5 mile extended run, and a kayak division.
The annual Shingle Creek Adventure Challenge is open to two- three- and four-person teams interested in healthy, hearty competition while exploring some of Osceola County’s pristine natural areas via bike, foot and canoe or kayak.
The run route through Shingle Creek Regional Park is a 5 miler (8K). Bicyclists will cover approximately 23 miles through the park and surrounding areas of Kissimmee. In the final leg, the paddler will cover 3 miles.
Participants can provide their own canoes or rent a canoe for the small fee of $5. If entering the kayak division, participants must provide your own single person kayak.
Bicyclists must bring their own bikes. 2 person team $50
