Including:The do's and don'ts of washing specialty fabrics such as embroidered linens and silks,Thread Count - fact vs. myth,Choosing the right pillow This 30-minute presentation will provide valuable information to you help maintain your estate. The remainder of DEMA meetings are devoted to networking and exchanging solutions with other estate staff. Refreshments will be served.

About our Speaker:
Alan Murphy, Jr. is vice president of Pioneer Linens Yacht & Estate Division. A fourth generation member of a family business established in 1912, Alan grew up involved with Pioneer Linens and founded the Yacht & Estate Division in 2006. The West Palm Beach resident stays involved with his community, Alan holds a major in business management from Palm Beach Atlantic University where he founded the Palm Beach Atlantic University Lacrosse program. Alan is the past Chair of Board of Directors for AMI Kids Palm Beach and served for 3 years on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement. Alan is currently a member of the Florida Yacht Brokers Association (FYBA), Young Friends of the Palm Beach Historical Society, Young Professionals in Yachting where he is Co-Vice President and Chair of the Professional Development Committee. Just recently, Alan was named as the Southeast Regional Director for the Domestic Estate Managers Association (DEMA). Alan believes he has been lucky to be part of such a great legacy in Palm Beach County and looks forward to serving his community for many years to come.
