In 1988, the blues-rock quartet was formed by singer/harmonica player John Popper, guitarist Chan Kinchla, bassist Bobby Sheehan and drummer Brendan Hill. Blues Traveler moved from the suburbs of New Jersey to New York City in the late ‘80s, where they became part of a jam-band scene and shared bills with groups like Spin Doctors and Phish. Signed to A&M, they released their self-titled debut album in 1990 and followed it with Travelers & Thieves in 1991.
Through the years they have continued with their success and in 2012 they released 25, a two-disc set celebrating the group’s 25th anniversary.
The quintet continues electrifying fans around the world. They have sold more than 13 million combined units worldwide and have played over 6,000 live shows in front of more than 30 million people.
Tickets go on sale Friday. August 2nd at noon, so don't miss out on what will be an amazing night of music!
