Thursday marks the the National Park Service's 100th birthday. 

As a part of the celebration, all National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone on certain dates.

Those dates include Aug. 25-28, Sept. 24 and Nov. 11, which is Veteran's Day.

There are more than 400 national parks in the country, of which 124 normally charge an entrance fee. Those fees range between $3 and $30 at any given park, according to NPS

Cape Cod National Seashore, Cumberland Island National Seashore, Everglades National Park, Wright Brothers National Memorial and Fort Sumter National Monument are among the parks that are offering free admission.

 The fee waiver includes entrance fees, commercial tour fees and transportation entrance fees.
