One of 13 venues which make up the House of Blues franchise, the House of Blues Orlando is currently owned by Live Nation - a giant in the entertainment venue industry. The House of Blues brand was the brainchild of Isaac Tigrett.

The House of Blues Orlando first opened its doors to the public in 1997. Located in the city's Downtown Disney area, the House of Blues Orlando features artwork from Mr. Imagination--a feature which distinguishes the House of Blues Orlando from its sister venues. However, like the other House of Blues venues, the House of Blues Orlando has stuck to its roots by displaying the “Crazy Quilt” and keeping a box of Delta Mississippi mud underneath its stage - a gesture to ensure that each performer will have the "spirit of the South" beneath their feet.

Fall Out Boy, Infected Mushroom, Busta Rhymes, Fiona Apple, Flogging Molly, John Legend and Erykah Badu are just some of the famous names featured on the House of Blues Orlando schedule in the past, with many more lined up for the future.
