The Community Center is open to the public and school age children from 3:00 - 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. We offer the school children, homework assistance and a secure place for fun after school activities which include pool, basketball, video games, air hockey, board games and much more. There is an application for participation in the gym. The application has to be completed before particiption is allowed.
Parents please be aware that we are not responsible for any personal belongings that could go missing while the children are in the gym
Throughout the school year we also offer Day Camp Programs for the Spring and Summer breaks. The hoursfor these camps are 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Monday - Friday. The cost of the Day Camp will be $60.00 per week, plus extra fees for field trips. Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks needs to be provided by the parent each day. We begin taking applications for summer camp at the start of April and we have placement for 40 children, so don't delay and get your child's application in soon! you can do this by clicking on the summer camp link and then you can either mail or fax the application to the attention of Ross Cook (Community Center Director).
We offer the opportunity to the public to rent our community center for various activities, such as Pro Wrestling, Basketball Tournaments, birthday parties, etc. If you are interested in renting our facility you will need to fill out a Rental Contract which can be picked up at the at The Salvation Army office. You can either mail or fax the contract back to the office to the attention of the community center director for approval. The rental fee is $65.00 per hour and a $50.00 deposit which is refundable if everything is left clean.
