Not everybody likes candy corn, but a bowl of the sweet, sugary treat unarguably makes a quick and cheap Halloween decoration.
And whether you actually eat them or not, you can now can upgrade to Candy Corn Oreos -- but only if you go to a Target store because that's the only place they are being sold. And only during the Halloween holiday season, which apparently started at the beginning of September.
Yes, it's true: Kraft Foods has released a limited-edition cookie that you can buy only at Target stores ($3.59 a package).
The Halloween-themed cookies come on the heels of a "Daily Twist" campaign that Kraft Foods launched in June. The campaign has managed to generate plenty of chatter about the cookie, rolling out new twists on Oreos on a daily basis, depending on what's trending. Maybe the buzz is more important than the taste for the Candy Corn Oreos. Here are a couple of the reviews:
For the record, the limited edition Candy Corn Oreos are not your only Oreo option. Nabisco also offers plain old chocolate "Halloween Oreo" with an orange filling at most stores.
