The Plaza Live 425 N Bumby Ave, Orlando — As the impacts of the current public health crisis continue to strain our local community, nonprofit arts groups are faced with uncertainty and continued shutdowns, projecting no live performances until 2021. Theaters remain empty while work in the industry is scarce amid the pandemic. Many local groups have been forced to furlough their staff or completely terminate seasonal contracts with artists in the area.
In response, Feed the Need Florida and various arts community leaders joined forces in May to celebrate and thank one of the hardest-hit communities – arts and entertainment industry professionals.
The free prepared meals are available to anyone in the arts and entertainment community, including performers, musicians, visual artists, design and production personnel, entertainment management and more.
Any member of the arts community is invited to stop by:
Tuesday, August 11 - 11am-1pm
