Technology strikes again!!! For better or worse, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to avoid being CAUGHT ON CAMERA these days . . . and that goes for inside your own home too, with all the “smart” devices.
A man in Taiwan caught his wife cheating with another man . . . after he remotely activated their robot vacuum, and saw her with some other guy through its camera feature.
The footage showed his wife embracing the other man . . . and walking around the house naked while he sat on the sofa.
The man SUED BOTH OF THEM, which you can do in Taiwan, and he won the case. They were ordered to pay him around 15,000 in U.S. dollars.
But then the wife COUNTER-SUED him . . . claiming she was filmed without permission. She won THAT case, and the husband was ordered to pay her nearly $5,000 . . . AND was sentenced to five months in jail!!
It sounds like the original case wasn’t affected, so he would’ve still netted around $10,000 when it was all said and done. Plus the jail time.
I wonder who gets to keep the robot vac in the divorce settlement??
