David Lee Roth May Have Predicted His Own Retirement Date Back In 1991 In One Of His Videos

Honestly I don’t remember David Lee Roth’s song, much less his video, for A Lil’ Ain’t Enough from 1991. That’s right around when grunge was blowing up so it may have easily been overlooked by many. It’s also not one of his better songs, in my opinion, so I didn’t know it existed. And I’d never seen the video. Until today, that is, because a bigger DLR fan noticed in that video, towards the end around the 4:07 mark, that Dave himself pulls up to a sign that reads “Diamond Dave The Absolute Final Tour” at the Anaheim Coliseum. A few seconds later, at the 4:12 mark, Dave himself pulls up in what looks like a Star Wars land-speeder style future car, with the date on the screen as October 10, 2021! Check it out, from 30 years ago.

So it seems maybe Dave knew something 30 years before even he knew it himself. Strange coincidence? Long-game plan? Who knows. But with him announcing his retirement on October 4th, and not the 10th, its probably just coincidence, and he forgot all about this video too, or he probably WOULD have announced on the 10th for the cool factor. Also if he was so good at predicting things, how did he get 2021 cars, and camera technology, and fashion so wrong in the same video?

One other thing about Dave. Until today, when I just checked, he had a tour graphic up on his website for his Vegas shows calling it “The Last Tour”. But just under that part were the words “Unless It Isn’t”. You can see that graphic here, but its not on his site anymore.

Here’s the full video from 30 years ago.
