Ethan was nominated by his friend, Samantha, who said, “Ethan has worked really hard--first as an EMT and now a med-surg nurse working at Health Central Hospital in Ocoee. He has worked in their COVID units as both a nurse and nursing safety officer. He has sacrificed time with his friends and family to serve on the front lines and he absolutely loves what he does. During the height of the pandemic he worked extra hours to help and when I asked how he was doing, he would say “I’m great! How are you?” even though I know he had to be exhausted. I have known him for over 10 years and he is one of the nicest and most caring people I have ever met. He deserves to be recognized--not only for the work he does but for being a great human being”.
