Jessica was nominated by her friend, Keith, who said, “Soldier, Firefighter, Police Officer. Jessica Mendoza has served her country as a Hazmat Specialist in the Army Reserve, became a firefighter for the Air Force Reserve, deployed to Kuwait with the Air Force, and has been serving as a central Florida Police Officer for six years. Jessica continues to support other veterans in law enforcement and is studying to combat human trafficking.”.
