NASA Says We’re Still GO for Splashdown - For Now

Space - The Final Frontier — Astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley are preparing for a dramatic re-entry to Earth Sunday.

NASA and SpaceX will assess weather conditions and make a final determination 6 hours prior to the moment the Crew Dragon capsule undocks from the International Space Station.

That’s at 7:34pm Saturday (August 1), with splashdown at approximately 2:42pm Sunday (August 2). So by about 1:30pm Saturday, we will all know for sure.

Keep in mind, there are 7 potential splashdown locations including the Gulf of Mexico, the Panhandle and, everybody’s favorite choice (lol), just off the coast of Cape Canaveral.

When it happens, you can watch the whole thing live on WFTV Channel 9 or online, below.
