Scott Suehle | Honoree for January 29th, 2021

Scott was nominated by his daughter, Hannah, who said, “This month marks Chief Suehle’s 25 year anniversary with the Orlando Fire Department. Over his 25 years Chief Suehle has climbed the ranks while working to inspire and ensure the safety of his crew. While working to promote to the rank of Chief, Chief Suehle was diagnosed with a career-related cancer, however he did not let that stop him from the job he loves. Chief Suehle works to remind the younger generation of the importance of job safety and proper protective equipment in hopes that we can one day lower the number of firefighter acquired cancer diagnoses. Chief Suehle is an inspiration in and out of the department, even inspiring his children to follow in his footsteps (his oldest daughter is a Graduate Nurse/Paramedic, and his son a firefighter/EMT for Seminole County Fire Department)”.

Scott, thanks for all you do for the community. As a way of saying thanks, you will receive a BBQ Feast for 10 at Mission BBQ.
