On April 9th 2021 Lynyrd Skynyrd’s live album and concert film “Live At Knebworth ‘76″ will be released. Watch the trailer for it here.

On August 21st 1976 Lynyrd Skynyrd played England’s Knebworth Festival on a bill that included headliners The Rolling Stones.

Their performance this day has been used as part of the movie “Freebird...The Movie”.

But the songs were all cut up with interviews between them.

Here is a chance to see and hear the show as they played it that day.

The album and movie will be released on April 9th 2021.

The band had it’s classic line up that day of Ronnie Van Zant, Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, Steve Gaines, Leon Wilkeson, Artimus Pyle, Billy Powell and The Honkettes.

The caption below the video says “On August 21, 1976, Lynyrd Skynyrd took the stage at Knebworth as part of a daylong festival which also included Todd Rundgren’s Utopia, 10cc and The Rolling Stones.
