They are huge all over the world, and especially in their homeland of Ireland.
So big, they’re about to become their own tourist attraction!
Sounds like they’re referring to it as the U2 Visitor Center. Sounds more like U2 Land to me!
Back in 2001 Motley Crue released their book “The Dirt”.
The book tells the band’s story.
For years after that they were trying to turn the book into a movie.
Now, the movie is done and will hit Netflix on March 22nd.
Check out the full trailer below.
This feels right.
Queen, with current lead singer, Adam Lambert, will perform during this Sunday’s Academy Awards telecast.
I’m guessing they’ll be playing “Bohemian Rhapsody”...I mean, I would THINK so.
The film Bohemian Rhapsody, about legendary frontman Freddie Mercury and Queen, is up for 5 Oscar Awards.
That would be a nice cherry on top!
On March 1st 2019 a Tom Petty career retrospective called “The Best Of Everything” will come out.
One of the tracks is an unreleased tune called “For Real’ that was recorded in 2000.
You can check out the acoustic based tune below.
Are you glad they have gone into Tom’s vaults to release material we haven’t heard yet?
We called to let Christine from Winter Park know that SHE was the lucky winner of the FLOOR SEATS to Fleetwood Mac...but days went by and we didn’t hear back.
She finally called to say she was on her way to pick up “the pair of Fleetwood Mac tickets I won”. We kinda figured she didn’t listen too closely to our message and she had no idea they were FLOOR SEATS.
So when she showed up, Denise met her in the lobby with the news. Here’s how that went down...
Next up...tickets to see Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo: A Very Intimate, Acoustic Evening at the Hard Rock May 7th. Tickets all day Saturday & Sunday.
And starting in the 7am hour Monday morning, another full week of chances to MEET STEVEN TYLER at the Florida Strawberry Festival March 3!

David Lee Roth said his band was going to be playing huge stadiums this summer.
Exiled bassist Michael Anthony said he hadn’t heard from the guys about it.
So, is there going to be a Van Halen reunion, or not?
According to Metalheadzone.com, a Van Halen insider named Tomas Bmyr, who works for Warner/Chapell Music, has some new information - and an announcement is said to be coming soon.
The big details, according to Bmyr are that Michael Anthony will guest on just one song at each show. Current VH bassist and Eddie Van Halen’s son, Wolfgang, will remain the bassist on all other songs.
Sammy Hagar will not be involved at all, according to Bmyr. Also, it isn’t going to be a full-scale tour. He said there will be 6 U.S. stadium dates and an additional 5-date Las Vegas residency.
We’re watching closely and will share all the details as soon as they become available.
Please join us in wishing the Ozzman a complete and fast recovery.
He was hospitalized last week with complications from the flu. They were trying to prevent him from getting pneumonia.
Today his wife, Sharon Osbourne, tweeted:
We’re sending Ozzy our best!
David Gilmour’s legendary black strat is just one of 120 guitars about to be auctioned by the legendary Pink Floyd guitarist.
The guitar is expected to fetch between $100,000 and $150,000 when Christie’s releases it for auction June 20th. CLICK HERE to view the auction listing.
I’m thinking it will go for waaaay more than that. This guitar was used on “Money”, “Wish You Were Here” and “Comfortably Numb”, just to name a few.
In a statement, Gilmour said, ‘These guitars have given so much to me, and it’s time for them to move on to other people who hopefully will find joy, and perhaps create something new.’
The most impressive thing about the auction is where the money is going. ALL of it, to charity.
Gilmour said, “By auctioning these guitars, I hope that I can give some help where it is really needed and through my charitable foundation do some good in this world. It will be a wrench to see them go and perhaps one day I’ll have to track one or two of them down and buy them back!”
Gilmour bought the famous black strat at Manny’s on West 48th Street in New York City back in 1970. The biggest guitarists in the world bought guitars from Manny’s. When playing shows at Madison Square Garden, they’d stop in and play a few until they found their next, beloved instrument. Jimi, Eddie, Eric, Stevie...all of ‘em.
That street used to be known as “the music district”, with stores that sold instruments lining the street. But sadly, each one of those special stores has closed in the past 10 years.
But that’s a story for another day...
You’ve heard the Rico Monaco Band on Sunday Morning Acoustic, now go see them live! These guys rock - and it’s always a party when they come to play. Primo date night - bring other couples with you...you can thank me later :)
This band is TIGHT - latin-infused rock. And you’ll get to see them play every track from their new album “Hey Tito” WITH special guest, Tito Puente, Jr.

My favorite cut is the Rico Monaco Band’s rocked out version of “Oye Come Va” with a whole medley of awesome classic rock tunes all mashed up in there.
The event is Saturday night, February 16 at the Veranda Live at 707 E. Washington Street in downtown Orlando. Sweet spot!

Neal Schon has assembled a band called Journey Through Time.
Beside Schon the band also features other Journey alumni singer/keyboardist Greg Rolie (who was also in Santana with Neal) and drummer Deen Castronovo.
Neal has also invited Steve Perry to be involved in the tour.
Conventional wisdom says that isn’t going to happen.
The band will perform all the greatest Journey hits plus choice selections from their earliest recordings.
Schon says "We're really going to play anything that's in our repertoire — anything that Journey has recorded, I plan on mixing it up a lot and not playing the same set. Stuff from our first three records — we're going to update that a little bit — and have some fun jamming!"
Watch some videos of the band below.
On May 10th the first studio album from Sammy Hagar and The Circle, “Space Between”, will be released.

Sammy has been hinting around that this could be his last album.
Below check out the album’s first single “Trust Fund Baby”.

Rock & Brews restaurants are offering a free meal to TSA workers who were ordered back to work without pay during the government shutdown.
Nice gesture, Gene and Paul.
They’re offering your choice of a pulled pork sandwich or Strawberry Fields salad when you show your TSA ID. They will give TSA workers a free meal every day that they are not being paid.
This offer is good at all free-standing locations (not on airport/casino grounds). The Rock & Brews near OIA is free-standing.
A driver in Manitoba was nabbed going 90 miles an hour. As the officer wrote him a very expensive ticket, the driver said it was all Mötley Crüe’s fault.
I mean, come ON! Kickstart My Heart had just come on the radio. He’s only human, after all.
In the best response ever, the Royal Mounted Canadian Police posted a photo of the officer’s radar display (it shows 145 kmh - that’s Canadian for 90 miles an hour) with a caption that said:
“This driver’s excuse for going 145kmh? Kickstart my Heart by Mötley Crüe was on the radio. Funny enough, our officer knew he was telling the truth, since he was also listening to it - just at a much slower & safer speed. Fined $639. #noexcuses #AlwaysGotTheCopsComingAfterMe
I was hoping they’d bring these showings to the US... It’s time to sing along!
