You hear the terms tossed around all the time: "midseason," "halfway marker" and the like. Well, let's stamp it.
Yahoo Sports is celebrating NFL Midway Point this week, and while it's inexact (we've almost completed eight weeks of an 18-week season, and no team has played over half their schedule yet), it's also the week of the NFL trade deadline, meaning major decisions have been made for the rest of the year. Teams have to lock in who and what they are. That's a pretty strong indicator of the midway point, if you ask us.
We'll have good stuff for you all week, which celebrates what's already happened in the 2023 NFL season, and also looks ahead to the Super Bowl chase and salivating matchups to come, along with a mock draft for those whose teams maaaybe weren't so fortunate the first half.
