Saw this post pop up on Instagram today and it reminded me of one thing that used to be better back in the day. I’m not the type that complains about kids these days, or we says we had ‘real’ childhoods in the 80′s or whatever, but this was something that we used to be able to do, and now it doesn’t really happen anymore.

You used to get to meet bands at record store signing events when they came to your town. Now, the internet has made it so word gets out to way too many people, and way too many people show up, and it becomes a security issue. But I do remember meeting bands at record stores, and it was awesome!
