Recorded in Nashville and Detroit, it was inspired by the passing of his longtime friend, Glenn Frey, who the album is dedicated to. Containing 10 songs, with three more on the Deluxe Edition, Seger also pays tribute to Lou Reed and Leonard Cohen.

Bob Seger has earned 13 platinum and seven multi-platinum RIAA Certified sales awards. Earlier this year, his Greatest Hits album was certified diamond by the RIAA for achieving 10 million units sold in the U.S. He is also a member of the Rock and Roll and Songwriters Halls of Fame.
