Alexandra was nominated by her husband, Joseph, who shared how “My wife is the bravest, most caring and loving woman I know. Her passion towards her patients as a Registered Nurse is truly from the heart. There’s just something loving and nurturing about her bedside manner that patients feel cared for, comfortable and in good hands. They often say, ‘Don’t wear your heart on your sleeve’ but in her case, it’s that very thing that makes her stand out among the rest on her unit. This was most evident during the pandemic, when being called to serve others was not a have to, but a get to”.
