Jay Edwards is an Orlando native and proud to call Central Florida his home! He has lived in Seminole County since the age of 2 and attended school at Lake Brantley High School, Seminole Community College, and then graduated with a Radio/TV degree from UCF.
Jay is married to his high school sweetheart Stacie and they are both the proud parents of Caleb and Kiley. Caleb plays college baseball in North Carolina and Kiley is committed to play softball at UCF starting in the Fall of 2023. Jay currently lives in Longwood and has remained active over the years in the community assisting with various organizations including, Easter Seals, Coalition for the Homeless, American Heart Association, One Heart for Women and Children and more.
What’s Jay do when he’s not on the radio? “I’ve coached kids all over Central Florida for the last 20+ years, plus I love being on the lake and hanging on the boat.” Jay has also been the backup PA announcer for the Orlando Magic for 10+ years and he loves live music. Some of his favorite artists he's seen in concert are the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Van Halen, Poison, Def Leppard and Rush, just to name a few.
A few things on Jay’s bucket list are trying stand-up comedy and continuing to learn how to play bass guitar.
