Candlebox Did A Really Good Cover Of Loverboy’s ‘Turn Me Loose’ IMO

I’ve always been a Candlebox fan. And for those of you that loved the band in the 90′s but haven’t kept up with them in a while, they’ve never stopped churning out great songs. I was clicking around their YouTube channel telling people about some of their recent songs that I think are phenomenal, Vexatious, and a recent release All Downhill From Here. That’s when I stumbled across this, their cover of Loverboy’s Turn Me Loose. Of course I had to hear it, and I’m happy I did! I think its freaking awesome! Check it out for yourself, and below that I’ve also included the other 2 tracks I mentioned above. PLUS they’re on tour and have dates in most states already booked at this link.

According to the video description: ‘Jul 1, 2021 I love Loverboy and always have - no guilt, pure pleasure. A friend asked us to cover “Turn Me Loose” for her boss, who is also a huge fan of the band, so not only were we happy to oblige, but we decided to go all the way and make a video. Shot in Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Philadelphia, and Baltimore, our longtime sound engineer and tour manager Carlos assembled the footage and we absolutely love it. Hope you do too!’

Here’s their most recent release, All Down Hill From Here.

And here’s Vexatious, a personal favorite of mine.
