Fans outraged

Rock fans are used to being ignored at the Grammy Awards. It’s become an absolute Popfest. But this was an insult to music - period.

We lost a GOAT a few short months ago and the organization that celebrates American music honors him for 21 seconds -as part of the In Memoriam segment?

They couldn’t pre-produce something with clips of Ed, interspersed with comments from guitarists of every age talking about what Eddie Van Halen meant to guitar players the world over? A clip from his brother, son, former bandmates?

Slap in the face to him and fans everywhere.
