We all have similar moments during live events where we know we aren’t as interested and can go hit the bathroom or grab a new drink. During sporting events that’s at halftimes or intermissions, or even TV timeouts. And during concerts its usually when whatever band is on stage says they want to play some new songs you haven’t heard yet.
Super star singer Huey Lewis has a story about that but the band onstage was Led Zeppelin, and the song was Stairway To Heaven.
Huey told this story to Patton Oswalt back when Huey did a guest star role on Patton’s TV show The King Of Queens. Patton was talking about how being a stand up comedian almost the exact opposite from being in a touring rock band. I’ll let Patton finish the story because he tells it better, since its his story.
