Jeremy, who is currently the Senior Drill Instructor for the youth police explorer academy, was nominated by his friend, Heather Subbert, who said “I nominate Deputy Jeremy Cornell, Seminole County Sheriff Deputy and School Resource Officer. Deputy Cornell is a former Marine Sergeant, who continues to serve his community. He is beloved by the students at his school, and by our neighborhood, where he looks out for everyone’s safety and well-being.”
