Dogs and cats are the true rock stars with their unwavering loyalty and companionship!
98.9 WMMO has partnered with Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando to find forever homes for homeless pets in Central Florida.
You can help make it happen by adopting a pet, making a donation or sharing with family & friends the stories of pets that are waiting to be adopted.
There are so many wonderful pets in shelters across Central Florida that need to find their forever homes, and we want to help them do that with our “Paws of Fame” program.
Name: Dahlia
Age: 9 years old
Weight: 10 pounds
Type: Rat Terrier Mix
Color: Brown / White
Picture: Attached
Location To Adopt: Orlando Shelter, 4311 S John Young Parkway
Dahlia came to Pet Alliance from Lake County after a hoarding situation of 85 dogs. She is super sweet, and super shy, but you can see in her eyes that all she wants is someone to finally love her like she deserves. She will need a SIGNIFICANT amount of time to warm up to her new family, so we ask that they are patient and understanding with her needs due to her previous living conditions. She will also need a forever home with no small children. She is not leashed trained and is currently in the process of learning how to use puppy pads (aka not housebroken) She is available for adoption at our Orlando Shelter, located at 4311 S. John Young Parkway. We are open daily for adoptions from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
