Remember The Ridiculous ‘Satanic Panic’ Of The 80′s? This Hilarious Video Will Remind You

I spent the 80′s in a small and VERY conservative town in west Texas. So when the so-called ‘Satanic-Panic’ during that decade was taking over, it took over extra hard where I was. And now looking back at how idiotic the whole thing was is funny, sad, and a weird statement on how easy fear can control people.

This video, which is a real video from a crime prevention video series called ‘Satanic Cults & Ritual Crime’ produced in 1990 for the Louisiana State Police for “training” them on how to deal with satanic cults in their area, is a reminder of how people were being controlled by fear, and a severe lack of critical thinking skills. Yes, apparently in the 80′s being a rebellious teenager or liking rock music also meant you worshipped Satan. Seriously.

Warning signs of satanic behavior.
