Steel Panther’s Stix Zadinia Calls In To Talk About The New Album, Tour, And Guitar Pedal. (NSFW)

If you know anything about Steel Panther, then you know this interview isn’t necessarily safe for work. Mostly because we talk about their video for the song Party Like Tomorrow Is The End Of The World, which you can see at that link, and because we talk about their 4 guitar pedals with names like P**** Melter, Poontang Boomerang, Butthole Burner, and the latest one, 1987. The latest pedal recreates the sound of 1987 with a distortion/delay combo that can turn any guitarist into an 80′s guitar god. Ok, not really, but you’ll have that 80′s sound you crave. It’s based on the sounds they created for their new single and video, 1987, off the new album On The Prowl which drops February 24th.

In our interview we talk about Steel Panther’s new album and tour both titled On The Prowl. Stix and I talked about the making of one of the greatest music videos ever their 4th guitar pedal, ‘1987′, not wasting energy on hazing the new bass player Spyder, and hopefully hooking up with Cheap Trick’s Robin Zander on their tour stops in Florida in March.

Steel Panther is playing The Plaza live March 10th in Orlando, and Jannus Live March 11th in St. Petersburg.

And here’s the video for 1987:

And if you’ve never watched Steel Panther TV on YouTube, you are missing out! Here’s Satchel and Stix trying to crack each other up on Who’s Your Daddy’s Jokes:

Also, Science Panther videos are super funny too:
