Back on June 26th Billy Joel was taking a motorcycle ride on his native Long Island in the town of Huntington.
It appears during the ride he spotted a piano left on the curbside for trash and decided to stop and see if it plays.
The video opens with Billy playing the piano.
He then goes on to sing the praises of the instrument and express how he felt it was a shame it was being trashed and not donated.
The camera work is not great, but I suspect the person shooting the video was trying not to let Billy see that’s what they were doing.
If you look in the street you can see Billy’s bike and it also explains why he is wearing a helmet.
