The Powerball jackpot has again passed the $500 million mark.
According to the lottery, no tickets matched all six numbers – 20, 40, 47, 55, 63 and Powerball 5 – in Wednesday night’s drawing to win the $490 million top prize. That means Saturday’s jackpot will be an estimated $523 million, the Powerball website said.
One ticket sold in Pennsylvania matched five numbers and included the optional Power Play to win a second prize of $2 million, the lottery said. Two other tickets sold in Florida and Maryland also matched five numbers to win $1 million each.

The news came one day after a single Mega Millions ticket sold in New York matched all six numbers in Tuesday’s drawing to win a $431 million jackpot. The winning numbers were 36, 41, 45, 51, 56 and Mega Ball 13, according to the lottery’s website.
