Trebek just recently found out he has stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The disease has a low cure rate, and Trebek vows to fight it.
One fan who reached out to him, Elise Roth Tedeschi, received the same diagnosis in 2012 and has now been in remission for 6 ½ years, according to an interview with Fox News you can read here.
