All The Vanity License Plates The State Of Florida Deems Too Racy

Vanity license plates are popular in every state, Florida is no exception. In fact, Florida probably has a higher rate of vanity plates than most states due to the general nature of many of Florida’s vain population. Yes, we have a LOT of very vain people here. Sadly, the states have started catching on to our little game of making acronyms of pretty much everything these days. So here are the top license plates that were denied here, and a full PDF of all the rejected requests. Some of them are easy to figure out what the person was trying to sneak by, and others I have no idea why they were rejected at all, but obviously someone found them objectionable. If you don’t know what they are supposed to mean, I’ll translate some, and the others you can Google.

2020WTF - Apparently anything including WTF is off the table, which sucks because this plate is rad!

Here are the state of Florida’s guidelines to accepting or rejecting vanity plates:

“Personalized license plate requests received by the department with obscene or objectionable words will be rejected. If a personalized license plate has been issued and later determined to be obscene or objectionable, the department will recall the license plate. Personalized license plate orders are reviewed for obscene or objectionable material by staff in tax collector or FLHSMV offices when initial applications are processed and also screened through the department’s Inventory Control Unit. Customers can contact FLHSMV or their local tax collector’s office to file a complaint should they encounter a plate that is obscene or objectionable,”
