My mom is in her 70′s and she uses emojis every time we text. Which means that emojis are everywhere and probably a vast majority of people are using them daily. But did you know there’s actually a group of people who decide what emojis should be added to the lexicon of emojis available? There is. Its called Unicode Consortium, and they’re responsible for greenlighting all emoji, at least officially supported emojis. That way there aren’t random potentially offensive or hateful emojis being added, although there are outside companies that make all kinds of emoji apps you can download on your own.
