A year-and-a-half after Tom Petty’s passing, his widow, Dana York Petty, and daughters from a previous marriage, Adria and Annakim, are reportedly feuding over his estate.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Dana Petty is asking for a day-to-day manager to be appointed that has equal authority, along with Dana, Adria and Annakim.
Dana cited abusive behavior of Adria toward her, Tom’s band, the Heartbreakers, and Tom’s personal and business managers.
It seems both parties agree that Tom Petty’s musical legacy should be managed equally by all 3 of them - something Tom laid out in his will. However, they also agree that is not happening.
